Anonymous asked: What does a typical day of eating look like for you? I'm curious if I'm eating enough fruits/veggies. Also curious about food combining.
so today i had
1 TBS molasses and 700mls lemon water 6am
half a watermelon 8am
1.5 ltr green smoothie with 8 frozen bananas in it 12:30pm
2 big avo cucumber sushi rolls 4pm
500ml lemon water
large salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber and red onion) with mash potato and mix veggies (carrot, broccoli, cauliflower and peas) and 2 steamed corn cobs. 6pm
500ml lemon water
the fruit is always the first half of the day if im having a raw till 4 type of day (meaning cooked food in afternoons/dinner) i don’t consume fruits after cooked meals or fats for optimal digestion. if i do consume fruit after dinner (rarely) it will be a few dates or date coconut rolls. i dont suggest this to everyone but it doesnt seem to bother my digestion at all.
Anonymous asked: What snacks do you recommend when traveling?! And for long plane rides?
fresh Water is a must, dates, date coconut rolls, dried mango or bananas or any dried fruit really. rice cakes or crackers (natural low salt no processed yucky kind) and of course fruit if you can get away with it, they usually have fruit on long flights to. pre order your meal to be vegan if you can. most important thing on a long flight is to stay well hydrated, planes suck the water out of you and its easy to forget to drink water. but keep a big bottle (prepare with some lemon slices already in it) with you and get the hostesses to fill it up with the fresh bottled water (they will usually always do it if your nice and give them a big smile) if not just keep asking for more bottles and they usually get the drift that your serious about hydration haha. get an isle seat to so you can stretch out and walk around easily and makes it easy when u need to pee (might be annoying to pee alot on a long flight but trust me you will feel a million times better when u get off that flight. keep a hydrating face spray/mist and coconut oil to keep your skin dewy to. i always have a large carbed up atleast 2-4 hours before a long flight so i wont be to hungry on the flight and can last most of the time with snacks and water and just sleeping most of the way. smoothies are great for carbing up with lots of bananas or a cooked meal of corn pasta is great to. have fun x
